Denstone Stud is a 5-star equine and training facility set in over 40 acres of glorious Staffordshire countryside.

We offer 24-hour professional care in a friendly and welcoming environment where you can come and enjoy your horse and riding away from the stress of everyday life.

We will give you support to reach your goals whether you are purchasing your first horse or aiming for national or international glory!

Dressage to Music Packages

Come along and have a floor plan designed for you and your horse. We will then provide the music tailored to complement your partnership and give you all the help and advice you need to go to your first competition. We have produced music up to Grand Prix, with many national successes, as well as winning quadrille teams at Olympia and musical rides.

We are now working with Chris Lever a talented composer who will produce edits or original compositions.

A test session followed by feedback on how to gain extra marks, from List 1 judge Felicity Scott. £40.

Rider Profiling with Jane Critchley
1.5 hours of detailed analysis resulting in a 12-month improvement plan. £40.

Biomechanics Screening with Darren Bettison
Screening and an improvement plan from a qualified biomechanics coach with over 12 years experience. £40 when booked at Denstone Stud for the day.

Denstone Diamonds finish 5th at the BD BYRDS Team Quest final and Katie Gordon qualified for the Pro Am PSG Music final partnering Becky Moody and Tirsa. The combination finished 2nd. The Little Diamonds of Katie Gordon, Chloe Naylor and Poppy Field have won every qualifier leading up to the final and all under the age of 12 years. Well done girls!

Donnerouge wins Inter 1 and qualifies for BD Small Tour Championships.

Lothario wins Advance Medium Open area festival

Lothario wins the Advance Medium Open Area Festival on over 71% qualifying for the BD National Championships in April 2016.

Anna Tomlinson and More or Less finished off a fantastic year with 9th place at the BD Championships in the prelim.

Ephie Nash and Q finished 6th and 7th at the ROR National Finals.


Summer BD Regional Championships: Lothario and Donnerouge got top 10 placings in all their classes, with Donnerouge finishing off the weekend with 2nd in the Inter 1.

JUNE 2015

Felicity and Shining Light made headlines in the Horse and Hound winning Grand Prix on just short of 70%.

APRIL 2015

Anna Tomlinson and More or Less on their first trip to the Winter Championships at Hartpury win the BD Petplan Championships at Prelim level on 73%.

Bethany Gerrard awarded Equine Apprentice of the Year

MARCH 2015

Bethany Gerrard our amazing apprentice has had her hard work recognised by Reaseheath College who have awarded her Equine Apprentice of the Year.

Donnerouge was fantastic at Myerscough Premier League coming second in the Inter 1 with a score of 67% in strong company.


We had a very successful Regional Championships at Myerscough with Lothario 70% in Elem Open for 4th and 69% Elem Open Music for 7th, SP George 72% in the Novice Open Music for 8th and Donnerouge 70% in Adv Medium music for 4th and 68% in PSG music for 5th.

Ephie Nash and Q won their Open Dengie Pony Club Qualifier on 70% and won their BD Novice qualifier on 69%.


Lothario and SP George qualify for the music regionals for 2016, with two wins on fab scores. Once again our thanks go to Chris Lever for our amazing music.
